We stayed in a kitchen studio room that had a king size bed & full kitchen. This would have been a good room to stay in for an extended stay. However, we only stayed there 1 night. The space around the bed was small when trying to get to the window. There was not a desk to do computer work on. I set my computer up on the kitchen table. In hindsight, I wished I had gotten a regular room with either a king-sized bed or 2 queen sized beds. Everything else at the hotel was great. The hot breakfast was tasty & hearty. The internet worked great. I would recommend this hotel to stay at.

Awful hotel - NEVER again

This hotel was filthy (clumps of long hair on the wall and in the bathroom corners). Upon arrival, the AC was not working in the room. We called the front desk and were told not to touch the AC machine and only use the wall mounted controls. They were not working so we asked that they send a maintenance person to look at it since it was uncomfortably hot in the room. We were informed they do not have a maintenance person on site nor do they have one on call. So after fiddling around with it for a while we figured out you had to turn it on at the machine first before the wall controls would work. We called down to the front desk to tell them we had figured it out and the front desk person responds with “ohh I think I saw a memo about that room”. Thankfully we got it up and running. When we arrived at the hotel it was 10:30pm, we saw the room had no cloths, shower towels or hand towels so since everyone was tired we waiting until the following morning on our way out to a baseball tournament to ask the front desk to bring towels to our room only to be told “they don’t do that”. So we had to wait for the towels to be handed to us to bring back to our room. The breakfast - Sub par to say the least. Was not very good, not a ton of options and very limited quantities. At 8am there were no more potato patties left, when we asked if they would add more they told us they ran out an hour before. That means they ran out of potatoes 30 minutes into breakfast service. Breakfast starts at 6:30 and they were out by 7am. If you can stay somewhere else… Do it.

No hand towels. Beds were not made up next day. Had to call for more towels which took 2 hrs to deliver but no hand towels or washcloths. We have stayed here many times in the past with no problems. So disappointed!

The hotel is an old one and it seems as though it's caught between what it was and what it wants to be. Our overnight stay was fine, but that was about it. The room was clean, but crowded with the old kitchen and king bed. The hotel overall showed its age. Staff were generally helpful and pleasant to deal with. The hotel felt dark most of the time. Breakfast was pleasant although to get coffee or tea you had to go the front desk and when we went to breakfast, there was neither available. We probably would not return to this hotel as we're fairly sure that we could find a better quality in the area for the price.
